With 40,000 participants from over 500 teams, Formula Student Germany is the world's largest engineering competition. Students from various universities develop their own formula racing car within a year - from the initial design to production and extensive testing. They then compete against each other on famous racetracks such as the Hockenheimring, Spielberg or Silverstone.

But it's not just about speed and horsepower: Formula Student is a design and business competition in which aspects such as construction, manufacturing processes and economic concepts are assessed alongside pure performance. In the end, the winner is the one who brings the best overall package to the starting line.
