Wide-area expansion of SMD stencil production

"Future-oriented growth": BECKTRONIC GmbH consistently pursues its goals for this year. One of the biggest changes is the commissioning of the new production and administration building. Since the beginning of July 2017, the SMD stencil specialist is located at the new location in Weitefeld (district of Altenkirchen, Westerwald). With about 700 m² the new building offers much more space and new possibilities for the SMD stencil production of today and tomorrow. In this way, the company is continuing the previous process optimizations. These have a fundamental influence on the new space planning.

Professional, precise and personal - first-class results at all levels

Larger meeting, social and office rooms open up new possibilities for the self-determined management of the company's employees. In particular, the methods now used to increase productivity, Kaizen and Kanban, are decisive for the alignment of individual work areas.

All employees were involved in the implementation of the major project "relocation". In the run-up to the move, it was necessary to plan the optimum alignment of the machinery, workplaces, tools and production processes. The relocation could thus be carried out without any production stoppage. "The new location is a real improvement", says Claudia Müller, Sales Representative of BECKTRONIC GmbH, pleased. "The air-conditioned production areas can be optimally used and offer space for further equipment for the production, finishing and quality assurance of SMD stencils".

Altogether the coworker satisfaction was provably increased, not least by the active inclusion of all team members. The proximity between individual departments, for example CAD/CAM and production, supports better work structures. This has a positive effect on the overall success. In addition, the newly acquired premises allow for an expansion of the social rooms and more freedom of design for each employee. In addition, the direct location environment offers employees good shopping opportunities and attractive leisure activities.

The new premises enable further optimization steps in the production flow. In the future, high-quality stencil exhibits, technical equipment, excerpts from development work and materials relating to the stencil printing process will provide customers with informative and valuable suggestions for their working environment. The exhibited prototypes represent the multifaceted product range as well as the precision and excellent quality of BECKTRONIC GmbH.
