Becktronic purchases regional green electricity
For Becktronic, awareness of social responsibility goes hand in hand with the implementation of sustainability. Therefore, the use of green electricity is the necessary consequence in order to achieve a more climate-neutral economy, to promote the energy turnaround and to improve the ecological balance. Since 1 July 2020, the expert for the production of laser-cut SMD stencils has been purchasing electricity from renewable energy sources in order to avoid the burning of fossil fuels. The choice of the environmentally friendly electricity provider fell on the regionally based company MANN Strom, which generates 100% of its electricity from renewable energy sources. By switching to an environmentally friendly electricity provider, Becktronic GmbH would like to make an active contribution to environmental protection. Through the partnership with MANN-Strom, the SMD manufacturer consciously opted for a regional company with green electricity of the highest quality.
