BECKTRONIC approves extensive investment package for 2017

With good intentions into the new fiscal year: BECKTRONIC, the manufacturer of SMD stencils and functional accessories for the assembly of printed circuit boards, starts 2017 with a profitable growth plus. Contrary to the previous year's decline in domestic sales of the German electrical industry, BECKTRONIC generated a strong sales plus of almost 5 percent in the last fiscal year. The company thus outperforms the average industry growth and not only continues the development successes of the past years but intensifies them. The recently approved investment plan covers central topics such as automation in the production process and the increased expansion of a customer-oriented transfer network.

Over the past two years BECKTRONIC has been the innovation leader in the market for SMD stencils with numerous product developments. Now BECKTRONIC is investing heavily in new equipment, automation and digital communication with its customers. The current investment package makes the company even more flexible and efficient, creates new capacities and opens up far-reaching scope for action. BECKTRONIC remains true to its strategic goals of increasing productivity and quality of its customers.

In order to react even more flexibly and quickly to customer requirements and the rapidly advancing digitalisation, the company is investing as planned in the continuous expansion of its machinery. As a result, BECKTRONIC has the latest, ultra-modern equipment at its disposal. In addition to the new equipment, process automation is a central topic on the agenda this year. Innovative novelties have been announced, especially in the areas of surface technology, order and processing software as well as process and testing technology.

On the occasion of the re-certification of the QM system, which is due at the end of the second quarter of 2017, BECKTRONIC plans to convert to the new QM standard ISO 9001:2015. The completion and introduction of the new system is scheduled for mid-March 2017. The aim is to present and successfully certify a fully practiced new QM system with all necessary proofs for recertification. The company is thus continuing its strong vision for the future and underlining its productivity and quality capability on the market.
